Award winning Devon artist Penny Robson now runs her own jewellery business full time, designing and making jewellery pieces influenced by the coast. To see her work visit

Penny has worked as an artist and illustrator who has specialised in painting nature. Exhibitions include Natures Garden at the Kuwayama Art Museum, Japan, and the Society of Botanical Artists Open, Westminster, London. She received an RHS silver medal for her botanical watercolour paintings.

All work on this website has been published. Commissioned work includes Swansea City Council, Macmillan Education, The Field Studies Council and Sutton seeds.

Penny has many published articles in Leisure Painter magazine. Commissioned articles include Painting Puffins, Painting Wildlife in Watercolour, Red Deer Painting Project, Painting Flowers and Painting Sea Life. Penny's Piercefield paintings were featured in Leisure Painter magazine and her botanical work in Devon Life Magazine.

Penny has exhibited with The Wildlife Art Society International in their annual exhibition held at Nature in Art, Gloucester.

Penny's painting of a hare was shortlisted for the Ken Bromley Autumn Catalogue Cover.

Torquay artist Penny has undertaken a variety of Community art projects. Her first project with Torquay Community College won the TRAIL Scrap Art Challenge award in 2007. Penny also received two commissions in 2013 for the Great Gorillas project run by Paignton Zoo. Miss Prints from the Harlequin Centre, Exeter and Flagged from Torbay Town Centres Company, Paignton BID. Flagged raised the highest amount at auction £5300.
Penny has also been involved in two community art projects for south Devon College and several for Primary schools.

Penny has also worked as a tutor for The Open College of the Arts on three of their art and design courses.
